Who is that in the Mirror?

When I brought Aiden's lion costume home, he was not very excited about it. In fact, he would run away from it every time we showed it to him. But after some coaxing and tears we were able to get the costume on him and put him in front of a mirror. He studied himself in the mirror for a long time. He would try to touch (or hit) the other lion and then laugh when he realized it was actually him. He kept walking to the back of the mirror to see what was behind it and then back to the front to see if the lion was still there. In the end, he kissed the mirror and had just a wonderful time playing in front of the mirror. He has played in front of a mirror before, but I think wearing the costume, put everything in a whole new perspective for him. We actually had a hard time getting him out of the costume. He didn't even want to take it off for bath time! He kept trying to get into the bath tub with it on. I think he'll enjoy his evening of Trick-or-Treating in his costume now. Isn't he just the cutest lion?

he is sooo cute as a lion! but i'm confused. in real life, it looks like he is sticking his tongue out at the mirror, but the picture of him in the mirror shows no tongue out at all? how did that happen? that's kinda like a spooky movie where the person in the mirror has a life of its own and does different movements that the person in reality. is there any explanation to that other than the fact that the shutter speed on the camera just must have affected it somehow??

Lauren...ha..good question. It's acutally my mom's thumb. She was holding up the mirror from the back. It does look wierd, huh?

That's funny that Lauren C asked the tongue question...I saw that too...your mom's finger is perfectly positioned to make it look like it's his tongue...Gerry and I think you should submit that picture to the Walgreens contest...it's a definite winner!
