A Trip Down Memory Lane

On Memorial Day, Jeff, Aiden, and myself, were able to meet up with our friends from seminary, Shannon, Jeremy, and their little boy, who will make his entrance into the world in October. They were up visiting the area from North Carolina and were able to have lunch with us before they headed back down. We went to Cracker Barrel for lunch and about mid-way through realized we should have gone to a mexican restaurant. The four of us would always eat at a mexican restaurant, similar to Plaza Azteca, when we were in NC. But, we still had a great time at Cracker Barrel, nevertheless. It was so great to be able to have lunch and catch up on each other's lives. We had been keeping track of each other via the blog world and the occasional phone call, but being able to spend some time together just doesn't compare.

Even though our time at seminary was short, we feel so blessed by the relationships that were established while we were there. It is hard to explain the bonds you create with one another, but they truly are one of a kind and we will always treasure those sweet friendships and hold them dear to our hearts.
