Last night, holding true to tradition, the Mingee clan made our way down to War Memorial Stadium to cheer on the Peninsula Pilots during their first home game of the season. Even though the Pilots did not pull out a victory, we all had a great time. I tend to "talk" most of the game, so it is always fun for me to catch up with everyone. (I do watch the game, too). And I can guarentee that we all left with very full bellies thanks to the wonderful kettle corn. Aiden did well at the game, too. This year is diffrent from last year, in that Aiden was so small at his first game, just 16 days old, he was just very content to be held during the games. He even wone the prize that night for The Youngest Pilots Fan. But this year, as expected, he was very active and wanted to be on the move the whole time. He enjoyed having us all take turns walking him around the stadium, probably so he could find more treasures. He discoverd mulch, or as we like to call them "treasures", and had fun putting the treasures in his cup and then taking them all out of the cup, and so on and so on. It really was a wonderful evening and providing our schedules allow, we plan to attend many more games this summer."But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, and spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may exalt in you." -Psalm 5:11
