Because He Lives

Today was chaotic. Nothing was going according to "my plan." And, I hate to admit it but, I was feeling down.

Then, watching the joy and excitement Aiden had while hunting for his Easter eggs, I was reminded what today was all about.

It is not about me or my plan.  It is about our risen Savior. 

A Savior who lives. A Savior who has set me free.  A Savior who has given me hope and joy.

Sometimes, it just takes a little reminding to put things back into perspective.

And since then, I've been singing the chorus to "Because He Lives."  Oh, how true it is.

"Because He lives, I can face tomorrow;

Because He lives, all fear is gone;

Because I know he holds the future,

And life is worth the living,

Just because He lives!"
